Octopus Agile price history
Pick a region and month to see every published half-hourly price, the cheapest and most expensive days, negative-price events and how prices vary through the day. Data comes straight from Octopus Energy and can be downloaded as CSV.
Reading Agile price history
Averages here are simple averages of every published half-hour, which is what a perfectly flat user would pay. Real bills depend on when you use electricity, so a household that avoids 4–7pm pays less than the average. For a comparison using your own usage, try the Agile vs Tracker calculator.
Where does AgileWatch get historical Agile prices?
Directly from the public Octopus Energy API, for the Agile product that was available on each date. Completed days are cached so the same history is not fetched repeatedly.
Why are some days marked as incomplete?
A normal UK day has 48 half-hours, but the spring clock change has 46 and the autumn change has 50. If Octopus has not published every half-hour for a day, we show how many are available and leave that day out of cheapest/most expensive day rankings.
